Winterton on Sea, a very old fishing village, is famous for its excellent sandy beach and its dunes which is home to a very large Tern colony and is located some 8 miles north of Great Yarmouth and only one mile from the busy holiday resort of Hemsby.

You will find a local grocers, newsagents and pub along with a beach side cafe where snacks and ice cream are available.

Nearby you will see a wind farm of 10 turbines which supplies enough electricity to power 1000 homes.
